As the founder of Newport Street Capital (doing business as Newport Property Management), Jaime and his team take a hands‑on approach to day‑to‑day operations and prioritizes clear communication, proactive maintenance, and efficient systems so clients can enjoy truly passive ownership.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and a graduate of Boys and Girls High School in Bedford‑Stuyvesant, Jaime brings a strong work ethic and neighborhood‑focused mindset to every property. He went on to attend Brown University in the Ivy League, where he played Division I college basketball, an experience that sharpened his discipline, teamwork, and competitiveness on and off the court. Drawing on experience across marketing, tenant relations, and vendor coordination, Jaime works to maximize occupancy, control expenses, and build long‑term value for each property under management.
 

Outside of work, Jaime is driven by building lasting wealth for his growing family and approaches every property with an owner’s mindset—treating each asset as if it were his own.
